Flies in windows

I seem to have accumulated a large quantity of flies which seem stuck between the "double glazed" part of the front window. I have no idea how they got in there, much less how to get them out? Does anyone have any ideas please?

Are the gromits missing? Perhaps the flies have got in that way.

Use a strong vacum cleaner and cover the holes where the gromits once was, not sure if this will be strong enough to pull up the flies.

That's a good idea - I'm going to try it - We've got a wasp stuck in ours?
