Flowers in the window

Is it just me or are more and more people displaying flowers and arrangements in the front window of their caravan. Just had a lovely week away at Bunree site, most of the vanners along the lochside had some pretty large vases in the front windows spoiling the view out, I thought.

I can understand people celebrating a birthday or anniversary, but most of the displays were dried for artificial.

Alexander.

Maybe they just like flowers, modern dried/artificial flowers can be very nice, we nearly always have flowers in the window at home, so why not in the van, at the end of the day it`s each to their own.

Sorry, I am one of those too! LOL! Not fresh flowers though (water needed for that and it might spill).

I know where there are two brand new fire engines not yet mobilised with a teddy bear on each of the dash boards.

No doubt there will be disapproval but not only do we have two tiny dried flower arrangements ( not in the window) but we also have a garden gnome who has travelled everywhere with us for the past 15 years. He always takes his place on a spotlighted shelf and keeps a watchful eye on everything.I get him out before seeing to any other tasks and apologise that he has had to stay in a drawer since our last trip !

Awwwww don't be like that Eddie ... each to their own, I'm sure there is some psychiatric terminology for it though. I just hope Rioja doesn't let anyone hear when they talk to the gnome :O)

I haven't seen anyone mention about a duck so I think I will get a plastic one to stick in our caravan window just to be different ;O)

We keep some cuddlies in our fire engine too.

They are used to pacify youngsters who may be upset after an RTC where they or their family may be injured.
