I tow an ABI brooklyn 490-5 with c-max 1.8zetec have found it a brilliant tow car. I travelled all over ireland and just back from france. Averaged 29 mpg towing.Could only load van to max tow of 1200kg but small price to pay.Any body else tow with this?
 
You do realise that you can load the caravan to the max. towload PLUS the noseweight? The 1200kg that you quote is only the maximum permissible axle load of the caravan, not its total weight.

The max tow of 1200kgs is the cars max tow
