We went to Searles a few years ago and though the site was fine the fishing disappointed,at that time there were two tiny and I mean tiny ponds with platforms about 6 feet or more off the water,could only fish 9-1.00 or 1.30 yo 5.30 (apprx) and a fiver a session,I assume that has now changed

Been to Saltfleetby for a look whilst we were in the area and on the list to stay at

Whetstone is interesting as we met a couple from Leicester a couple of years ago whilst vanning and are intending to visit near their home as we havent been to that area anyway

We are in W Yorks,often go to York for a weekend or short break have been to Lincolnshire too many times to count also visited Somerset,Devon and Norfolk
