Good morning, can you help i have changed my email address in my profile. Somehow i appear to have gone from thedoog to thedoog1 and lost my avatar and history, can you help.

I did not realise how much grief changing email addresses could cause.

Your avatar and profile (number of posts etc) are now stored with an independent source called Gravatar.
If you had a forum profile in the past year or so your details should be stored there.

or if you've used the system before go to the Gravatar home page, click Help on the toolbar at the top and look for how to change your profile information.
Moderators can no longer edit profile information, it's all done via Gravatar to preserve your privacy.
