When the forum changed to the current format I raised the point that I did not like the way the main index page was continually reordered by each new posting going to the top of the list.

I find it becomes difficult to track the topics you have visted at each session when they keep resequencing.

I suggest again, that the main index page retains a fixed order of topics.

can we debate the idea?

We can debate it as much as we like but if the board software is set up like this, then that is that!

This is probably the worst boards I have ever used, but when it comes down to it, it does it's job...

...just.

There is no 'Move post' for the Mod's or any other necessary facilities. It must be a nightmare to moderate from that perspective.

Let's hope that TPTB will see sense and change to more professional software in the near future as they are hinting.
