Forum suddenly looks ugly.

Is it just me or is anybody else seeing a massive change on adverts on the site. If this is a member of PCv staff tinkering with the website, I think a course in ascetics is called for. This is just butt ugly. 🙁

As I only use my mobile phone for the phone version the forum remains the same as what it has done for the past few years , no change at all , it might be different on a PC though .

Sorted it. I normally use Firefox with AdBlock Plus, which suddenly stopped blocking ads. I loaded the forum today to be absolutely smashed by a massive Caravelair Purple Background just raddled with ads. I have now applied two new adblockers and its clean again.

Some of us mainly use PC's. it's a bl**dy disgrace.

No problem using IOS 12 on iPhone or iPad or on MAC. There are small ads somewhere on each thread towards the end of the final page. But they are not intrusive. Naive to expect a totally ad free forum. After all the publishers are in business to make a profit. No profit no pensions!

I totally accept the needs for ads, but this mornings Caravelair page was utterly ridiculous. Bright puprle and the whole screen. Forun shrunk to a postage stamp in the centre. But...............where there is a will, there is a way.
