One of the tasks we have as moderators is to approve or not various posts. A lot of what we clean out is Spam, most likely generated by bots and coming from around the globe.
If you use the menu system and find your way to the Members sections and click on Current Visitors, you'll see all sorts of bots accessing the content and various 'visitors' from around the world.
Probably some of this is AI machines trying to scrape information. As more AI content gets produced it feeds on itself eventually and the old adage of 'Garbabe in, Garbage out' becomes very relevant.
