Together with a group of international ex-pats, we organise an annual Tea Party in the small village of Viry, deep in the heart of Southern Burgundy. (Approx 60kms West of Macon). All proceeds go to charity. For more info, visit www.englishteaparty.fr This year it takes place Sunday 1 July. It will be themed 'Royal Diamond Jubilee'. Traditional afternoon tea will be served by correctly attired 'nippies' and entertainment will be provided by Morrismen and a Pipe Band. The Mayor has offered free camping on hard standing for the weekend provided that your unit is totally self contained. No electric hook ups will be available. The area is a real gem for those looking for peace and tranquility. It is full of historical monuments, and is ideal for walking and cycling. Can't the moderator's edit the topic title ?
We're avoiding all things Olympic and Royal Jubilee this summer, but it would be a shame for others to miss out on oldagetraveller's gig because of a minor title error

If you wear union flag boxers or knickers and are into Royalty and spending hard earned to go to France in June - July, a free pitch and a few Euro to charity rather than Sarky's slush funds has to be an attractive offer for some
