FREELANDER OWNERS

Hiya all, could any of you please tell me the best place to connect up the 12S fridge/charger relay?

I know you need a permanant 12V from the battery via a fuseable link, but its where to put and store the relay.

Many thanks in advance , Tim.

I would ask in the landrover forums. I found this http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?s=a83c8a2c412b9d4aa9700717feb55a63&showtopic=289 which points out its a 4 hour job.

On our Disco, the relays is fitted to the side of the fusebox in a location made for it. Maybe the dealer kit is the best way forward

Hi Tim. My system was installed by the tow bar fitter but I believe it is an auto sensing type relay fitted behind to RH side panel in the boot. There is an inline fuse in the main feed alongside the battery.

Hope this helps.
