Not what the BBC tell`s me. you should pick it up with a dish providing the dish is over 80cm that is in BRITTANY ?

You are getting mixed up. Freeview is terrestrial TV . Free to air is what you are referring to. This will require a dish and satellite receiver. If you are happy with ONLY BBC programmes then any digital receiver will do. However, if you want ITV, Ch4 and Ch5 or any other programmes you will need a SKY receiver and viewing card as these are encrypted still, whereas BBC, is, literally, "free to air".
