Have got a satellite system for when we go to France but was considering freeview as a quick method of getting more channels whilst in the UK.

Have keyed in a load of postcodes on the Freeview website of sites that we have either booked or may go to in the future. On not one would I be able to use it. Is the postcode checker that accurate?. I have the latest Status aerial fitted that should be ok according to there website.

If you've already got satellite, stick with it. Large areas of the UK, over 60% of campsites, can't and won't ever, receive a decent Freeview signal particularly as caravan aerials are mounted very low compared to rooftop domestic aerials.

When the analogue signal gets turned off, 2008-11, we'll all have to get satellite other than those who stay close to large urban areas.
