Freezer Fins Frosting Up

Never had this problem with our previous caravans but the metal fins below the freezer compartment have frozen up for some reason.
We have the fridge set to mains electric and temperature is set about half way.
Its a Dometic RMS 8550.
Any ideas please?
Many thanks

There are three main reasons for this.

First is that there is too much food in the fridge stopping the circulation of air, then the fins ice up and isolate the temp sensor in ice, which becomes an insulating "blanket" and the fridge thinks it is warmer than it is.

Second is the fridge is set too cold for the ambient conditions.

Third is a failure of the temp sensor or a misplaced sensor.

Fourth is the door is not shutting properly, allowing moist air from outside to condense and freeze.

Thank you Damien and Mel.
Yes,I must admit that there was a lot of food in the fridge and maybe it was set a little too high.
Ive checked the door and it does seem to close correctly.
On our next trip away, will remember not too put too much food in there and start with the temperature on a lower setting to begin with.
Thanks again
