I manged in the past to understand lead free petrol in France and Spain but what is diesel called in both countries and does it come out of a black hose as in this country?
In both coutries diesel used to be called gasoil or gazoil or something like it, but "diesel" is becoming more widespread.
In spain pumps sometimes showed gazoil a and gazoil B with one much cheaper than the other. I think the cheaper is basically kesosene / parrafin or perhaps TVO - either way NOT a good idea for a modern diesel engine.
Don't rely on hose colours.
Both countries have "premium" diesel but I have no idea whether this is worth the extra cost - any experts out there ?
