French sites refuse twin axel caravans.

Has anyone been refused access to a French caravan site with a twin Axel caravan, thinking you are a traveller.

i have had overnight stops in France, on the way down to spain with our T/A , and never had any problems

Yes some of the grass sites in france do not like them. Twin axel caravan tend to cut the feild up or thats what the siteowner,s have said when I asked. My french is not that good but thats the jist of it.
