Fridge air vents

The bug traps in my vents on the side of my '06 Challenger seemed to have worked loose and rattle in a wind. The fridge handbook says they can be removed with the outside vents for cleaning but gives no clue to how. They seem to have some clips on the inside but not sure which way they move. It would just be my luck to try and force them the wrong way and end up with a handful of plastic shrapnel and an embarrased look when she says "Ah, you managed to get them off easily then ?" Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Mrs Warboys,

There should be two plastic screw heads on the outside vents, look for the locking spot/pimple and turn the screws in the opposite direction 1/4 turn.

This should unlock the covers and re-fitting is the reverse procedure.

My Winter Vents are fitted/removed in the same way,

best regards, Martin

Thanks for your reply Martin, but the lack of surface screws is the reason for my question. Looking through the vents there are two black plastic tabs. Which way they go is the puzzle .......

Hi Your vents have little black sliders at the top, slide these inwards and pull the vents away lift the vent free from the bottom J.Lo
