Fridge gas problem

Hi, its my first posting on the site. I have just had a problem with my Electrolux Fridge where the Ignitor fail to flash and ignite after changing to a new gas bottle. Now it will not work on the gas, does anyone know why?

Have you purged the system of any air?

Is the hob working?

I know my Electrolux took about 5 minutes trying to ignite the pilot after there had been no bottle on it for a few weeks.

Hi Neil,

i have a problem when I have had the gas turned off between outings. When I turn my gas on to start the fridge up it takes a lot of lighting. I have found that keeping the level setting button pressed in for a good minute before pressing the igniter seems to be effective in lighting it up. Then when its light I keep the same pressed for another minute to make sure the sensor is warmed up so it stays on.
