I am comparing the spec of the Charisma and Challenger and have found that the fridges are different.

The Charisma has 'single energy' and temperature controls and the Challenger has energy selection.

Does this mean that the fridge in the Charisma will only run off one energy source? I thought most caravan fridges were 12v, 230v or gas.

The Abbey Vogue brochure states the same as the Charisma.

Anyone got one of these vans or know what 'single energy' means.

Graeme.

Taken from the Dometic website:

The new 7-series from Dometic allows convenient control with high-quality operating panels and integrated LED indicators for maximum safety and comfort. The easy-to-use controls in the modern silver control trim feature a technological innovation: One knob to select the energy - one knob for the temperature. The single door AES- and MES models operate with thermostatic control independent of the energy type. Maximum safety is guaranteed by a new central locking system.

Hope this answers your question Graeme
