I have a Dometic rm8551 fridge . the light has stopped working, has anyone had to change a bulb and if so how do you get at it.
I had the same problem last year. As Damian says it was not the "bulb". As my guarantee runs out next year is it really that difficult to fit a new sensor as a DIY?? Surely the fridge doesn't have to be removed so there's no tampering with gas fittings etc??Damian-Moderator said:It is very unlikely to be the actual light itself, which is an LED unit.
It is more likely to be the sensor which is not a DIY job , you need a Dometic Engineer to replace it.
