Fridge rocker switch bulb gone

On the older style Electrolux fridge RM4236. The illumination light on the rocker off/on switch is not working, the switch is working ok. Is is possible to ease the switch out from the front panel, to replace it, or do you have to pull the fridge out of the cabinet a bit, to release the tabs from behind the front panel?
 
It should prise out with a flat blade. They are held in place with built in plastic spring clips top and bottom. You cannot replace the bulb. As you thought , new switch required.
