Fridge Shelves

Hi All

Dose anybody have a problem with the shelves in the fridge. We have a 2005 sterling europa 525 and this year the shelves have started rust, All the plastic coating is peeling on the cross bars. The bottom on has a plastic cover under it and where it clips to the shelve its pulled the plastic coating away. any advise would be appreciated.

Hi Paul, same happened to mine in my 2006 swift. Phoned the dealer and they agreed to replace under the warrenty without even seeing them. I think it must therefore be a common problem.

got a 2005 Ace Jubilee, had exactly the same problem but haven't even bothered with the dealer cos from previous experiance they would be a waste of time! i scrapped all the old plastic off and Hammerited mine! seems fine

Hi Paul,

We had the same problem with our 4 year old Bailey Pageant. My wife phoned Thetford and a very helpful person sent two replacement shelves by return post at no cost. You can't ask for a better response!
