Front end rebuild

Good morning all,
Can anyone tell me if I should be using permenant but flexible adhesive to bond new wood to fibre glass around the front windows of my caravan? Or could I use FC40 or something similar? The reason I ask is , the thought crossed my mind that maybe I should have some sort of give between wood and fibre glass but still be strong enough to be able to support window stays when open fully and the pressures of wind etc whilst travelling on the road.
Thanks in advance Sean

I would make sure the new wood is fixed to the old wood with a decent wood glue - this frame providing the structural integrity to support the window, stays etc.

Then I would use a non-setting flexible sealant, like Sikaflex, to fit the window to the aperture.

But I'm not an expert!
