Thinking of buying one too but thought they looked a bit of a pain to fit, was told its a two man job by the assistant and that it hard to get the hang of.
Your views please, and any idea which brand is best?

Madeline, I have looked at the Specialised web site and they have a video of how to fit the cover. Although two are needed to fit the cover it seems straight forward enough so I have just ordered the cover from them

we have a towing cover and I fit it my self once I sorted it out. only problem I have had with it is when being a bit heavy handed when I nave tightened . the straps I have pulled a couple of the buckles off. The O/H as managed to repair them being handy with the sewing machine. ps ours did not have the aperture for the sidelights so yet again a d.i.y job using some old awning window malcolm1945

Malcolm, the cover has just arrived and there are two options for the lights.
Two battery led lights are supplied and seem to fit into pockets. The second option is a conversion kit whereby you cut the fabric where the caravan lights are and use clear plastic and plastic seals to seal around the cuts. This kit is also supplied.
Cost was £149 which is not too bad as it will save me having to rub hard to get tar marks off and will protect against stone damage.

I always tow with mine on especially after a stone the size of a 50 pence smashed my windscreen then hit the towing cover.
As it hit the aluminium of the roof had the cover not been on it would have holed the panel.

Just back after a few weeks away. We found it a bit of a pain adjusting the straps the first time but once adjusted it was ok for the next time as they were now the correct size.

Ronald, I have a Lunar Ultima not Bailey but you do need awning rails on both sides to fit the front cover.
We are off again next week for a couple of weeks away and to save time we will fit the cover the night before we go. The instructions do say not to leave the cover in place when the caravan is not in use but overnight should be ok. (I hope)
