hi
I'm thinking off buying a front towing cover to help protect my van when being towed, has anyone got any advice on these items. It would be going on our Ace Jubilee viceroy.

I don't have one, but think they are a good idea. However, to make them road legal whilst towing they must not obscure any road lights or reflectors.

We have bought one for our new caravan and have used it every time we tow. I was very surprised at the amount of road dirt and bugs it catches instead of it hitting the front of the van. We bought ours from Protec and it is made to specifically fit our caravan so none of the lights or reflectors are obscured.

Lol. Drives my wife mad but I get out the mud buster and a cloth and wipe the front of the van down when j arrive on site. I'd personally be concerned about rubbing the windows. I've not used or seen one up close and personal however.

BTW can you wash the front towing cover and if so how?
of course you can exactly the same way you wash the front of the van[ with it in place] then hang over car to dry. mind you if your going to have to wash it why bother with one just wash the van.

I purchased a front cover after i drove over a newly resurfaced road with my last caravan and dispite help from the forum I was never able to get all the tar off the front of the van.
Now I arrive with a clean front.
My cover is not specifically for my van but is a generic one. It comes with parts to either cut the clothe where the lights are or,as I have, use the supplied LED lights that fit into clear pockets on the cover.
