I have a 2009 Swift Charisma 550 returning from a week away in van noticed that in the middle, of the middle front window when traveling at 50/55mph an area of about 4" x 6" seems to be damp/moist between the outer/inner panes of the window . this only happened on the return journey .(think it could be a bit condensation )as soon as you stop driving its gone .window will flex inwards when driving i know that. has anyone had the same .or is it a fault

cheers

Douglas,

Yes this is a fault and has been done to death on the forum.

The panes touch when travelling and will eventually rub each other and mark them.

Contact Swift and they should arrange the Mark 3 replacement which has a larger gap/ stronger plastic.

Well know fault. Some people have had 2/3 replacements. Mine is now fine and seems much stronger.

Douglas if your van 09 was produced before August 08, their is good chance you have a faulty window our Ace needed two replacements this one fitted back in October seems fine but only done 60miles, will no better after few more outings, if you go on swift talk and ask Andy, Ash or Dave on their they will help.

James is right for your van it's the MkIII, for mine it's the MkII has the Ace has a smaller window in length.

Miriad fitted mine, went through the dealer first but they put the same type of window back, got Andy of Swift involved after the seconded window failed, he sorted it me within a fortnight.

GradadBazza had the same problem so did Wendy forgot he hubbies name for the moment, if you search problem front window you will see all the posts.
