Front Windows

Hi folks,

Whilst doing a wee clean up on my Van I opened my front windows wide to my Lunar venus 1994 and found at the top of all the windows on the metal part of the van where the top edge of the windows close I found in varying degress a substance that looks like putty very sticky. There are no issues with leaks or anything but just wonder wehat the issue might be?

Tony, its just the Silkafelx sealing compound they use at joins.

If its been warm where the van is sited, its just epanded in the heat a bit and oozed out.

If its getting in the way of the window closing, use a plastic knife, or similar and GENTLY trim it back a bit.

Dont damage the skin of the van whilst doing it!!!!
