Fuel Prices in France

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know the current prices for diesel in France ? The AA Fuelwatch website that I have used in the past is only correct as at last November since which there have been considerable changes.

Hello John,

My son travelled down to Eurodisney over Xmas week, and said the Autoroute prices were 1.12 euro's per litre.

This made it cheaper to buy in UK (never known it before!).

The supermarkets are no doubt cheaper, but not a great deal of difference at the moment.

Hi we were in France for the new year, and in the supermarket the price was 94 and at Auchan in Calais i think it was 97.

Diesel at Auchan in Dunkirk was 95.5 cents per litre on Wednesday 14th January, obviously Auoroute prices will be more expensive.

Or this website: http://www.zagaz.com/index.php - which allows you to select any 'departement' in France, and then any town or village, and view the costs of petrol/diesel/lpg in each - a really useful comparison site. On checking recently there was 26 centimes difference between the cheapest and the most expensive unleaded in one (not large) town I checked on! This is a huge saving on a tank full of fuel.

Am I missing something? Just looked at www.seasearch etc and latest info seems to be dated 05!
