Full Awning Sizes.....Confused.

Hi.Have just bought a newer caravan(2007 Lunar Zenith EB)and it stated on the advert that the awning size was 970.

When we sold our old caravan,the ground to ground measurement on that one was 954 and was told that it should fit our new van.

Alas....it doesnt.

The thing is...I thought my awning fell into the 950-975 range,in which case it should have fitted.

Ive measured our new van and it is about 975cm.

Obviously i now have to buy another awning but which size range should i be looking at?...975-1000?? sounds a bit too big to me.

Have you considered having your present awning extended?

We have used the Canvas repair company several times to have our awning enlarged and reduced. Cost about

Thank you James.I suppose that is one option but im wondering if the awning may be worth that much.

Wifes been looking at the Sunncamp Ultima 390 large porch awning,so we may decide on that option.

Obviously, you should bought 975-1000 which only very few difference on cost and you can fit the caravan by adjusting the skirt. Meanwhile, I would suggest Quest 2009 new range awning which is very good quality with reasonable price.
