Off to France with my 2005 Galaxy. I've got the impression that masking the beams with these bulbs might just melt the headlights. Iknow I can lower the beam but any advice would be appreciated.

we have always used the tranlucent beam deflectors on our Sharan (glass lenses) and S-max (acrylic lenses) with no problem

Hi David

I am off to France in the next couple of days and have xenons fitted. How easy is it to make the adjustments and could you please supply the info.

Russell.

Xenon headlamps are particularly critical and any adjustments should only be made by an authorised dealer.

i have a print out from galaxy owners site, there is an allen key headed adjuster at the back of each Xenon lamp which moves the head light to a flat beam suitable for use on either side of the road so you can do it before you go .As Lutz says the headlamp adjustment is critical but you dont have to move this, mine was out anyway and was adjusted at MOT the auto adjustment keeps it to this setting but mine was a little high.Try logging on as it is full of useful info anyway but if you cant then i will type the instructions in here or you
