Hi All

I am looking for some help with a gas issue on my Elddis Cyclone Crusader - we have the caravan on a pitch in North Wales nears Abersoch -

We run the fridge on gas and have a terrible smell from the exhaust bent and into the awning - it's been an issue for some months so we only run the fridge when we are not in the van, all gas is turned off at night.

Have replaced the main gas regulator twice, the gas Burner and Jet as well - still no fix

Any help please ???

Stop using this fridge immediately. Isolate the gas supply to the fridge and call In a qualified mobile caravan engineer.
I can't believe you have been using the fridge in this condition for months :woohoo: :angry:

For this reason alone I would not consider buying a van that has it's fridge venting into the awning 😱hmy:
A draught free awning and gas don't mix 😱hmy:

Turn the gas off at the fridge isolation valve ASAP and call out a qualified mobile caravan engineer ....
 
Hi - Yes we have turned off the Gas and don't use it - the Burner and regulator we replaced by a local Caravan place but Nil Fix.

Trying to get a Dometic Mobile engineer to come out but no joy yet.
