Have had my old one stolen from my van with some other kit.The only one available seems to be the Miariad Gok test kit for £300 ish that you also have to have cylinders of propellant to use http://www.miriad-products.com/product.php?xProd=97&xSec=71

Does anyone know where I can buy the hand pump version,I only do a few vans a year so could live with something cheaper if its available?

I simply use "U" tube and water manometers made of clear plastic tube. They were good enough during my aircraft industry apprenticeship days 50 years ago, and gravity has not changed much since

. Add a bike pump for over pressure tests?

Anything suitable in the Screwfix catalogue (p 726/7)? I use a Monument dry pressure test kit for checking any plumbing prior to opening the stop tap. Not sure whether it is suitable/adapable for caravan use.

Dave, the Miriad pressure tester does not need propellant to operate it, the canister is simply a volumiser to give the correct volume of air for the system, its just a reservoir, nothing ele.

It has been since 2004 !

Not that 150 mB presents any real problem with a water manometer, just a tad ungainly and nowhere near as neat as modern tools. However its very accurate.
