Gas regulator connection

Why do they always make the connection so short which results in you having to physically change over the bottles? Surely it is common sense to fit the connection in the middle between the bottles. Guess I will have to fit a new longer hose to avoid having to change over bottles.
 
guess so Ian but make sure you get the right hose for the job or get a gas fitter to move the regulator,i presume you are talking about the new type fitted regulator
 
Hi Ian you can get longer gas hose tails from gaslow direct , i bought a 1 1/2 mt one which will now reach outside the front locker if i wany to use a larger bottle
