going to lake garda

Hi everyone my name is Tim. have been caravanning for many years mainly in France but this year we are going further afield, to Lake Garda and was wondering if there is anything i should be wary of. Trying to keep the travelling as simple as possible, if thats at all possible, as wife hates to pull the 'van. From Calais heading towards Strasbourg to a place called Wasselone then down into Italy via Switzerland. Concerned about the last stage. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tim B If I were you I would consider going to Innsbruck and then over the Brenner to Garda. We have done it many times it is cheaper and the roads easy whatever van you have.

We go from Calais to Bitburg, Black Forest then along to Innsbruck. Lovely trip down. How long are you taking to get there?. Switzerland way is now
