Good family site in cornwall

Hiya im looking for a good family site in cornwall for my hols next year must have plenty for my 3 children to do prefer to be near the beach and good fishing spots near by any recomendations welcome thanks leanne 🙂

If your looking for sites in or around Newquay, Hendra is great for the kids with excellent amenities. We were down in Newquay a couple of weeks ago and whilst we were there had a look at some other sites. Watergate bay looked a good site as did the one next to the Holywell bay fun park (the name escapes me) Had a lot of lakes on site for fishing. Also looked a good site for kids with plenty to do.

We decided not stop at Hendra this time and stopped at a site called Riverside which was round the corner from Hendra. The staff were very friendly but we wont be going there again.

I think the site Phil is trying to remember is Travornick near Hollywell Bay.
It looks a bit pricey as you have to add all the elements together. Have a look at thier web site and judge for yourself

Pentewan Sands. Got it's own beach but very popular so you need to book early. Probably expensive. Don't allow dogs.

wooda near bude is very good for kids and has it's own fishing lake, couple of mile from the beach but walkable if you're fit
