good sites Bala?

Anyone recommend a good site very close to lake for sailing small inflatable dingy. Hoping for a week in May, a good local pub within walking distance, club sites or good cl/cs preferred.

There's a nice site called Glan Llyn (lakeside) at the bottom end of the lake. Have a look at www.glanllyn.com. We stayed there a couple of years ago and it has it's own access to the lake and fishing rights. There are a couple of other sites to the North end of the lake (nearer to the town) but we had a drive round them and thought they were a bit uneven and pitches quite close together.

Thanks for both replies. Do you know the name of the Camping & Caravan Club site? when I looked in the book they seemed to be away from the lake. Any experiences good or bad on this site?
