Good sites near Biaritz

we used camping cheques last year. the first site we tried nr Biarritz was Berrua. www.berrua.com

When we arrived there had been heavy rain the week before & a lot of the pitches were still under water. So we tried Airotel Residence des Pins. www.campingdespins.com

This is a lovely site, most of the pitches are marked by Hydrangers (never seen so many).

We would go back there.

Let us know how you get on

Try this site www.louptitpoun.com its between bayonne and bairitz away from the very busy sites on the coast.

Its a little cracker

I would suggest Pavillion Royale at Bidard on the road to Biaritz. The site has direct access to the beach. Nice sized pitches - no statics. Good bar and restaurant. Site is in the Caravan Club Europe book - it does not take camping cheques. We did call at Residence des Pins (just up the road) - it was Whitsun - the children's pool was not in use - the swings had not been fitted in the play area and with a large twin axle it was not easy to manoeuvre around the site. After looking round we came straight out and tried Pavillion Royale. These sites are only 5 - 10 mins from the Autoroute and there is a good sized newish Intermarche 5 mins from the site - you pass it on the way.

Thank's for all your good advice,
