When it comes to towing capacity you really do have to check the manufacturers details, as what might appear to be a model with the same engine can have quite different towed weight and nose load limits. Some more powerful sporting variants are not even allowed to tow anything!

Sometimes something as small as a trim level can change the maximum towed weight limit of the model.
 
Can't remember which way around it is , but I think the noseweight for XC90 5 seater is 90kg and the XC90 7 seater is 120 or 130kg. Probably due to extra weight on rear axle?
