Like many of you guys we also fancy northern spain..or landes in western france? We are two couples with very well behaved 3/4year old boys..any tips? A pembrey but in spain would be fab! lol...
 
I would whole heartedly suggest Le Landes as a top place in France. We have been to Biscarosse twice and loved it - massive freshwater lakes with sandy beaches and the Atlantic with surf and sandy beaches. Apparrantly the lakes above the Biscarosse area are even better (and a little closer!)
 
avoid camping ezscaba in pampolona it was full of rumanian gypsies when we went in june, and we got off after 1 night as they were eying up our twin axle abi, some of the guide books also list a site in zaragosa it no longer exists, we went up into the spanish pyrenees and stayed at camping gaset at tremp which is a great site,
