Hi, been caravanning for a couple of years now, just come across this website despite subscribing to magazine for some time. Got a 2005 Swift Charisma 550 with fixed bed (wouldn't be without it) Tow with 55 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CTRD. Been as far as France twice now and loved every minute of it. After reading a couple of posts just wondered if anyone can help. After buying the van last year i found damp in the rear wall. No problem as it was repaired under warranty, there was a large crack above the rear brake light which was repaired and a new wall board fitted. Have since seen a couple of minute cracks on the rear n/s corner where the rear panel joins the side under the awning rail but thought nowt about it. Have since learned that damp can enter that way. Warranty has now expired. Acquired some creeping crack remedy and have given it a few applications. Was wondering if this would be any good? Don't fancy paying for another repair myself as it would probably mean a bit of expense. No visible signs of damp on the wallboard in the bathroom. Will see what happens. Enjoying the Forums.
