Just got an email from C&CC to say that if I get a quote from the club insurance then I get a free Greggs sausage roll!! Such largesse. I can barely contain my excitement.

I wonder what your life insurer would think. Bit down market of the CCC to offer Greggs, now something from Sandwich, Sandwich would tempt me.

I heard they are called a Geordie Dummy! Apparently all the single mother chavs in Geordie land stick one of them in the bairns mouth to stop them greeting.

Read the Red Tractor specification🙈 Parts of the pig I’ve never heard of comprise meat !!

Best to stick to Traditional Cumberland Sausage. PGI protected with minimum 80% pork, some as high as 98%. Yummy. When we lived in Cumbria we bought ours from a local butcher in Ulverston.

I recall one of the burger producers proudly proclaiming "100% beef" - which does of course include bone, skin and hoof as well as offal and more recognisable cuts of meat.
