Hairline crack

Hi there, can anybody advise of a clear sealant, invisible tape or otherwise that I could use to cover a hairline crack in the external bodywork of a grp van? Am looking for diy solution.

I don't believe it's letting water in, but would rather be safe than sorry.

Any help gratefully received.

If the panel is GRP, it may be just a hairline in the gel coat, but may be more extensive.
Do not be tempted to use any of the "off the shelf" clear sealants such as those sold by large retail outlets, they are not suitable.
You could try Soudall Fixall Clear , or Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure.
No tape will be invisible.
Another solution is to find a GRP user such as a boatbuilder or mould maker and ask if they can repair the gel coat.

Thanks for the swift response, Captain Tolleys seems the way to go. I have also read that regular clear lacquer you get with car touch up kits does the job. Do you have any experience with this?
