Handbook for new caravan

Should I expect to get a handbook with a new caravan? There isn't one, and as we are having to return to the dealer tomorrow to sort out a few problems (tell you later) it would be useful to have your feedback.

vi you get a handbook with every new caravan it might of been taken before you bought the van , what kind of van is it ian....

It's a Burstner. I have asked the dealer today when we had to take it in for various problems and they have ordered one for us. I don't know why it wasn't there in the first place.

We have just picked up a new Hymer Nova complete with handbook,(as big as a telephone directory). Mind you after nearly 2 hours hand-over with your your own personal dispatch manager, we hardly needed the handbook.

Every one at Lowdhams leisure (Notts) were absolutely fantastic.First class in every respect.

Most organized and professional hand-over you could ever wish for.

From my research of the electical side it is an offence not to provide a handbook covering at least the electrical side, but as I have explained there the Burstner manual is the sorst I have ever seen in this respect and to all intents useless for trouble shooting.

Not if you want to know how to arrange the seat cushions, then there are 5 very clear pages showing you exactly how.

Also beware that it seems Burstner vans do not carry a certificate of electircal compliance, so please check out the electrical installation (mains) or get some qualifed person to do it for you.
