Don`t laugh but I want to put up a couple of pictures (prints) in the caravan but i don`t want to us picture hooks. Does anyone know a way of fixing pictures to a wall without marking it? I thought about using a small amount of silicon sealant on each corner but i`m not sure if it would leave a mark on the wall when I take the pictures down when I get fed up with them. Pete

Velco sqare are very good - we use them to hang our very amateur painting efforts on the walls to dry. For other 'artists' try acrylics or WN Artisan range water soluble oils to avoid turpentine smells in the van.

My technique has been to drill a blind hole [about 1/16”] in the centre of the rear top of the frame so the picture can hang on a brass panel pin driven into the van's wall. This takes the weight.
To fix I put a piece of 3Ms double sided tape about a cm square on each rear corner of the frame; this held the pictures firmly back to the wall.
On trading it in I cheese wire cut through the tape and eased off the residue from the wall vinyl with a finger.

We have put prints/pretty travel posters etc. up - not in frames - using wall paper paste. Easy to remove when we want to put something else up; just moisten the paper and peel off. Do not be tempted to use border adhesive as it contains a latex type glue and is a *** to remove.
Double sided stickies, command hooks, blu tac are great until you get hot weather as in Spain in June/July.

I sent a reply to this recently but heaven knows where it went.
We use wallpaper paste to put prints and pretty tourist posters up but not in frames. Easy to remove when a change is called for; just moisten paper and it peels off. Do not be tempted to use border adhesive as it containes some sort of latex and is a hard to remove.
Double sided stickies, command strips, blu tac etc. tends to loose it's grip in hot weather - though I am thinking Spain in June/July/August type hot weather.

Sorry to be a bit thick about this; but where in the van are you hanging these pictures up? I can't think of a bit of wall that hasn't got a locker or mirror attached to it.
