can anyone tell me how to fastern down porch awning onto flagged area

On a flagged surface you've only got two options. Drill it and fit rawlbolts or use lots of heavy weights (concrete blocks, sandbags or cast iron weights from old scales or even weightlifters)I doubt bricks would be heavy enough.
