Got our new (to us) swift corniche 17/3 last weekend it had not been used for a while and needed some TLC. I have spent all weekend cleaning inside and out and sorting those little problems that you get with a van you are not familiar with. all seems to be working fine now and ready for our first adventure in it on easter weekend. As the subject title says its been a hard work but thouroghly satisfying. Cant wait to get away in it.

Feeling good...............................

It is always good to give the van a good clean and sort out just before the season starts.
Lets hope the weather at Easter will be kind to you

I started to Tcut and polish my van last week. So far I've done one side nd half the roof. I hadn't realised it was so big!!!!!!
And yes, I agree it is hard work.

I even set the telly up and and had dinner and a cuppa in it. Didn't want to come back indoors.
Ah well back to the real world...................... :(

I use one of these 12v pollishers from Halfords to polish the van up, it comes with a 5mtr cable that plugs into the van & makes doing the roof & sides easy

Hi The 12v polishers do make waxing on and off much easier, but if using t-cut be very careful.

The paint on the van is quiet thin especially compared to a car, please be careful if using a cutting compound you don't take the paint right off.

Cheers
John
