Hi All

We're newbies to caravanning and have just bought a secondhand Isabella Capril Lux awning which has raised a few questions that we'd really like your help with. We've booked for the C&CC site at Keswick with a hardstanding so what sort of pegs should we use for the awning? We're going to get a breathable groundsheet - will this be ok on a hardstanding or only grass? What sort of pegs should we get for the groundsheet? Help please )

I've amassed hundreds of pegs over the years. We find the 8" Screwpegs work best on our Izzy Capri Lux. Hammer them in and use the adaptor in your cordless drill to remove. Easy .

Whoops to quick. For the groundsheet we don't bother with pegs. Never had a problem in years.

John,

You will need to use Rock Pegs on Hardstandings, or an alternative method is 6" Galvinised Nails with Penny Washers.

As for the Groundsheet, a Breathable one is fine as long as it is of good quality ie. non-tear, as not all hardstandings are pea shingle and on some the chippings can be sharp,

best regards, Martin
