Hi, has anyone been to this site on Dartmoor, any comments as to how easy it is to get to the coast, and is the site very isolated up on the moors.

Thanks Alan

This site is 2 miles north of Tavistock, which is best accessed from Plymouth rather than driving all the way across the moor. Its more on the western side of Dartmoor national park.

Hi Paul

This site is only a couple of miles from Tavistock. Speaking as someone that lives on the moor I would come via M5.... A30 around Okehampton as suggested on the Harford Bridge site.

The site is in a peaceful quiet setting & if you have a dog there is a good size dog walk.

Plymouth is about 15 miles, it wouldn't take long to reach Cornwall for a day on the coast. You may enjoy visiting Postbridge for river & moorland walks &Chagford is an intersting village.

Hope you have a good time & it stops raining!!!
