In my search for a new awning I have now encountered a Harrington own brand.Seems to be suuperior to lower priced awnings and has look and finish of the more expensive isabella.

My size will cost £580 compared £450 Pyramid or £1400 isabella.

Anyone have any experience of these awnings?

Yes, we did and it was the biggest mistake we ever made. We had a porch awning, which was, fortunately, ripped off the side of the van at Christmas otherwise it was coming home and being burnt. We had only used it three times and that was twice too many.

It was the b....y poles. They have a twist and lock system, so when you twist, the end of the pole pops out of the stooopid little bracket thing on the side of the van and came down on your head. Tensionsing was a nightmare. However, I said (idiot) that we use it Christmas rather than the large awning, we had words, as usual with it, but got it up. Give the awning its due, it did survive some strong winds, but the final gust ripped the roof from the tracking tape and went of down the field.

If you have room for a divorce lawyer, get one, or check they have stopped using twist and lock poles.

Have fun.
