Stayed at Merrose Farm a couple of years ago had a great holiday and it is a site we will certainly go back to one day. We followed the route into the site from the CC sites directory from the A30 and I can't recall the roads being to difficult while towing the van. The road down to the site is narrow but is controlled by the sites own traffic lights.

We were at merrose farm last week , it's a lovely site ,slightly hilly but pitches are level , good shop , really nice wardens, revamped toilet block with the biggest shower cubicles I've seen, roads are fine ( we've got a 26ft twin axle)

nearest beach is pendower , a mile from the site down a slightly scary single track road but its worth it, sandy, sheltered, not crowded.

William , We're from Falkirk and the roads all the way down were fine ,there were road works at a few places but cos we travelled on sundays there were no hold ups

Hi Folks

Everything Mo says about the site is correct. The pitches in the middle of the site are hardstandings. The pitches on the outside are grass. There is a slope to the site but nothing drastic.

The roads are tight at times and you need a mountain goat not a tow car.

We did get stuck in traffic jam for two and a half hours both ways at A30 between Exeter and Bodmin, that at 2.30 in the afternoon on Saturday.

Billy
