Hi

Newbie question. We have booked to go to Haven's Burham on Sea site this Easter weekend. We have two young children so Haven like sites work well for us a the moment.

We've booked a Euro pitch which includes water, waste and electricty hookups. It also includes a TV hook up. This is the first time this has been available to us and I'm not sure how we actually connect it to the caravan. I'm quite happy knowing where the coxial cable goes in the back of the TV but I'm not sure whether we need to supply the lead from the hookup to the caravan, how long should it be, can I plug it in the aerial booster or straight in to the tv and (finally) how do I get the lead into the caravan without leaving the window open?

Any help or experiences about this great fully received.

Yes you will need to provide the co-ax from the van to the bollard. The same length as your mains cable should do fine, after all it's going to the same place. It should already be boosted so straight into the TV should be fine. You should find that you can close the window with the cable in place as it will just squash into the rubber seal, although there are people who have put connections in the gas or battery box etc. Just make sure you allow enough slack to allow the blinds to close, if you use them.
